About AJC Reports
Aboriginal Involvement in the Western Australian Criminal Justice System
Reports describing the level of Indigenous over-representation in the WA criminal justice system were first produced for the Aboriginal Justice Council (before it was disbanded in 2002) and then produced for the WA Department of Indigenous Affairs.
A first report, describing Aboriginal involvement in the Western Australian criminal justice system in 1997, was published in 1999.
Later reports, for the years 1999-2001, form a series and include some additional regional charts.
